Abstract
Paraphilic disorders encompass persistent abnormal sexual interests accompanied by psychological distress, compulsive actions, emotional dysregulation, and dysfunction. Of all the paraphilias, zoophilic disorder is among the least studied areas in psychiatry and forensic psychology both scientifically and socially. This paper will investigate the possibilities of using AI-powered cognitive-behavioral therapy and digital mental health care solutions to treat maladaptive zoophilic cognition, compulsive sexual urges, and related psychological problems in human beings. The paper will analyze neurocognitive and psychological processes underlying sexual compulsivity, such as cognitive distortions, behavioral conditioning, trauma triggers, and impulse regulation difficulties. The article will further explore the development of AI-enabled psychotherapy software, conversational therapy chatbots, emotional surveillance devices, telepsychiatry apps, and relapse prevention platforms that offer discreet, convenient, and customized psychological services. It is expected that AI-powered CBT can facilitate increased treatment availability, enhanced emotional insight, better behavioral accountability, and timely counseling services for individuals hesitant to access traditional psychiatric interventions due to stigma and social prejudice.
